PINK Vet Bed with Green back - S. 76cm X 51cm £4.50
£3.50
Vet bed, Vet fleece, or veterinary bedding is all the same thing. A bit like "sellotape", its just the manufactuers name thats different.

WHATS IT FOR?

It is used universally in the dog and cat world and veterinary surgeries because of its unique properties.

  • If you are having a litter of pups or kittens, THIS IS THE FLEECE YOU NEED
  • It stays dry on top
  • It is Ideal for whelping and is used by all breeders
  • Incontinant dogs stay dry
  • Post operative care
  • Elderly dogs
  • Dogs which suffer from "pressure sores"
  • Pets with Allergies
  • As a fleece blanket for pups and kittens

Due to the polyester pile, veterinary bedding has several very important qualities;

  • It is Non-Allergenic
  • It is Non-Toxic
  • It is Non-Irritant
  • It won't support Bacteria
  • WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NON SLIP AND THE "GREEN BACK"?

Firstly "Green back" is just a colour, it actually doesnt matter what colour the backing on vet bed is, it all does the same job. The backing does need to be reasonably stiff though. Its the thickness on the front that counts. It needs to be a good deep pile of about 1" thick, dense enough for you to leave finger prints in.

The non slip rubber backing does exactly as it says, it stops the mat from slipping around. Ideal if used on wooden floors, in kennels, backs of cars etc. It is also more flexible than the standard vet beds. Anothe reason why its more popular

BOTH types wash in a washing machine and tumble dry.

BOTH types can be hosed with a pressure washer if you want to wash them outdoors

BOTH types are ideal for kennel use or whelping

BOTH types are suitable for post op care

WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WHITE, COLOURED OR PICTURES?

ABSOLUTELY nothing. It all does the same job. My advice is to use white if your having a litter of pups or kittens or a convalescing pet just home after an operation. If something is wrong it shows up on the white background. Once the pups are born, then change to a coloured pattern, whatever you fancy to suit the litter. Personal preferance is all yours. My litters of Samoyeds are all born on white Vet Bed and moved onto Blue as it makes a lovely backdrop for taking photos. My shibas however are born on White and moved onto Green.

My older dogs are on darker colours, greys, browns etc. It doesnt show the dirt as much. its that simple!

If your showing cats, then either a white or cream is best to line your show cage with.

    Other uses for vet beds..

If your disabled and wheelchair reliant, its cheaper than buying the stuff from your local disabled shop for your wheelchair, car seat, favorite chair etc.

Elderly or disabled people can gain a lot of comfort from Vet bed, it reduces bed sore risk

HORSE RIDERS! a vet bed makes a lovely numnah and due to the ease of washing, far easier to look after than a sheepskin!

Babies and children. Vet beds are  an ideal pram or pushchair liner. Also a warm snuggly play mat, or changing mat

Bathroom mats or rugs (Especially the non slip version. Why not choose a pale cream or lilac, pastel blue or mint green for the bathroom

Rugs in general for anywhere in the house.. or caravan.. talking of which..

CARAVAN or camper van. PERFECT rugs )
